The family-run business began In the 1950s when Tony Ferreira opened Tony’s Garage on Gorham Street in Lowell. In 1959 the business was moved to Chelmsford and today, Tony’s grandson Christopher Ferreira has expanded the business and now oversees an extensive and versatile fleet, and an experienced and trustworthy team of skilled automotive professionals. And like his grandfather, Christopher offers a full-service auto repair and body shop/collision center, specializing in commercial truck repair.
The Christopher’s Towing team is well-trained, licensed, and certified. All drivers pass a CORI check and are approved by local area police departments. We are members of professional tow and recovery organizations including WreckMaster, Towing Recovery Association of America and Massachusetts Statewide Towing Association.
Being a family-run business, we pride ourselves on being an active leader in our community. We are fortunate to be able to give back to the community where we work and live, and appreciate the many opportunities to support local causes such as free rides and tows, food drives, youth sports sponsorships, volunteer group support, and school events and fundraisers.

For three generations, Christopher’s Towing has provided safe and reliable towing, recovery, roadside assistance, auto repair, and body shop services to customers in Chelmsford, Lowell, Billerica, Westford, Tewksbury, Dracut and throughout New England.
Professional Associations
We train regularly and are certified in light and heavy duty towing and recovery, including hazmat and other certifications from WreckMaster, Towing Recovery Association of America and Massachusetts Statewide Towing Association.

As a third generation, family-owned business we strongly believe in giving back to our community.
